Isabel Woodford

Isabel Woodford is a freelance journalist and producer based in London. She writes features on culture, money, and human behaviour for the Financial Times, The Atlantic, The Guardian, BBC, New Scientist, and others.

Her career began in tech and finance journalism — later being nominated for Tech Journalist of the Year in 2021. She studied at the University of Oxford and is a fellow of the John Schofield Trust.

She was previously based in Mexico City as a staffer with Reuters.
